How BringYaPet works

Finding a shared home should work for your pets, too — whether they belong to you or your housemates.

Before you use this guide

These are general household conversation starters, not a legal approval or tenancy agreement. Confirm local laws and the particular property's rules independently.

If your pet is moving with you

You need more than a listing that simply says “pets considered”. The important questions are which animals are accepted, how many may move in, what the property allows, and how the existing household feels about them.

BringYaPet is being built to make those rules visible before you get attached to a room. Your introduction should explain your animal’s species, size where relevant, routines and household needs.

If you love living with pets

You don’t need to own a dog or cat to want one in your household. Some people love sharing a home with animals but cannot take on the full responsibility of ownership.

Our planned matching separates pets already living in a home from new pets that may join. A house with a dog is not necessarily able to accept a second dog.

If you have a room to offer

Describe the room, the household and its existing animals. State which additional pets are actually permitted, whether outdoor space is secure, and whether animals may live indoors.

Only advertise when you have authority to do so. The people in the household and any relevant rental provider or owners corporation may have different requirements.

Where we are now

The public marketplace is in preparation. Listings, accounts and private introductions are not open yet. These guides are available now to help people prepare for a more useful matching conversation.

Once the service launches, listing email verification and moderation will help discourage misuse, but no platform can guarantee an animal or rental arrangement is suitable. Always confirm the details yourself.
